Great class on Dialogue last Saturday.
I love seeing my students learning, realising, internalising and understanding the process.
We went from playing feelings to playing your objective.
We saw the difference. We felt the difference. How engaging it is for the audience to see somebody wanting something very dearly in their life and because of that everything else falls into place.
Vs.
How it pushes you as the audience away when somebody plays feelings.
There are a lot more details at play, but the CARBOMB – System works.
My absolute pleasure to see my alumni students on stage and directing. I love seeing how much they have grown ever since havung taken the classes.
15 years after I was a part of the BCT Fringe in 2009 – as part of the cast of some scenes of Avenue Q directed by Justin Brooks, I foubd myself in the same space where we played back then, the British Club.
The club still has a feel of old colonial heritage, at least to me.
There were some excellent performances on stage that evening and I feel lucky to be free on Saturday evenings…

A Milestone Moment in Our Fundamentals of Acting Course!
Today, we witnessed a historic moment as our youngest participant, Simon, just 13 years old, directed a scene for the very first time. The teamwork was incredible—everyone chipped in to help. During rehearsals, the performances were so convincing that I genuinely thought Tony got hurt! It’s inspiring to see people of all ages working together and learning in our course.
