I love these pictures of Clare and Garland playing Nina and Trigorin in the showcase. They look so free in their acting.
It was quite a journey to get to this level of performance, but the pictures speak for
themselves.Acting shows us our boundaries and limitations and as actors we have to step outside of our comfort zone, over and over again.
Well done, Clare and Garland. It was a pleasure to see you on stage.

At the end of the show we had a happy audience, happy actors and a happy director.
For actors, real actors, there is no better feeling than performing in front of a live audience.
It is thrilling, exciting,
and liberating.The process of working towards the performance is bonding the actors together. You are creating something together for the benefit of the audience, for a greater good.

One of my proudest moments as an acting coach is to see my students do well on stage. Christian studied with me a few years back.
He is a freelance actor now and works at our pre-school / kindergarten.
For
this showcase I had the pleasure to work with him again and direct him in his scene with Yannick. They were both amazing.I loved their energy which is why I decided to use their show as the show opener.

Having fun with the teenagers in the Fundamentals of Acting Course. This was the first time that I allowed several pre-teens into the course and they showed that they could keep up with the teens.
